Terms of service
Last updated: September 4, 2026. These terms govern your use of the VeilFittings website and of the VeilFittings subscription service.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By using this website, by requesting a walkthrough, or by subscribing to VeilFittings, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and of the business you represent. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that company. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the service. These terms form the entire agreement between you and MLJ, SASU regarding VeilFittings and replace any earlier understanding, written or spoken.
2. The service we provide
VeilFittings is a web based system for bridal retail and alterations businesses. It records gown orders from the deposit through production, shipping, receiving, alterations and pickup; it schedules fitting and pickup appointments against named seamstresses and fitting rooms; it holds alteration estimates, approvals and outstanding balances; and it shows workroom capacity as estimated hours per person per week. It also sends appointment reminders by email and text message to the brides your staff enter into the system.
VeilFittings does not process card payments, does not sell gowns, does not act as your accountant and does not guarantee the delivery dates promised by any designer or shipper. It records those dates and warns you when they threaten a fitting, which is a different thing.
3. Eligibility and accounts
The service is offered to businesses, not to consumers. You must be at least eighteen years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You are responsible for every account you create for your staff, for keeping login credentials confidential and for everything done under those logins. Tell us immediately at jimenezjulien42@gmail.com if you believe an account has been compromised, and we will help you lock it and rotate credentials.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use VeilFittings only for the lawful operation of your bridal business. You may not attempt to breach or test the security of the service, reverse engineer it, resell access to it, use it to store data unrelated to your shop, upload malicious code, or use it to send unsolicited commercial messages to people who have not asked to hear from your shop. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to hold the personal details of the brides and staff you enter into the system, and for telling them what you use it for.
5. Subscription and billing
VeilFittings is sold on three monthly plans in United States dollars: Single Shop at $59 per month for one location, Shop Plus at $119 per month for one location, and Multi Store at $249 per month for up to six locations. The plan price covers unlimited gown orders, unlimited appointments and unlimited brides on that plan's feature set. Charges are taken in advance for each monthly period on the anniversary of the day you subscribed, and applicable taxes are added where the law requires it.
Prices may change with at least thirty days of written notice sent to the billing email on the account. A price change never applies to a period you have already paid for. Upgrades between plans take effect immediately with the difference charged on a pro rata basis; downgrades take effect at the start of your next monthly period.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time from inside the account or by writing to us. Cancellation stops the next renewal. The service stays available until the end of the monthly period you have already paid for, and no partial refund is issued for that remaining period. There is no cancellation fee, no notice period and no annual commitment. We may suspend or end an account for non payment after two written reminders, or immediately for serious breach of section 4.
7. Your data
Everything you enter, including gown orders, bride records, measurements, estimates, appointments and messages, belongs to you. We hold it to run the service for you and for no other purpose. We do not sell it, do not share it with designers or suppliers and do not use it to train machine learning systems. You may export your records in CSV format at any time while the account is open, and for thirty days after it closes, after which the data is deleted from live systems and from backups within the following backup cycle.
8. Availability and support
We aim for 99.9 percent monthly availability outside announced maintenance windows, which are scheduled outside United States business hours whenever possible. Support is provided by email on business days, with a target first response within one business day for all plans. Multi Store subscribers also have a named onboarding contact and a quarterly review call.
9. Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided on an as is and as available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MLJ, SASU makes no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or fit for a particular purpose beyond the description given in section 2. You remain responsible for the commercial decisions you take, including the dates you promise to a bride and the prices you charge for alterations.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of MLJ, SASU arising out of or relating to the service in any twelve month period is limited to the subscription fees you paid in that period. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost business opportunity or reputational harm. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, for willful misconduct, or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify MLJ, SASU against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the service, from your breach of these terms, or from content you enter into the system that infringes the rights of a third party.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service or in the law. Material changes are announced by email to the account contact at least thirty days before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page is updated. If you do not accept a change, you may cancel before it applies. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the new version.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably will be brought before the competent courts of Paris, France. Where mandatory consumer or business protections of your own jurisdiction apply, nothing here removes them.
